Using mobile applications for language learning as part of language classes

چکیده
Over the last decade, language learning with digital technology in general, and mobile particular, has received significant attention both research practice. This is mostly attributed to learning-enabling aspects of mobile-assisted (MALL) on one hand, rapid development hardware (mobile devices) software applications) other. MALL offers opportunity use devices for not only within confines classroom, but also outside it, making it particularly relevant implementation distance learning. paper examines latest practices concerning into teaching process by reviewing literature from field, particular focus designated applications The review, which identified 17 publications over period roughly two a half years (between January 2020 April 2022), codes educational interventions described therein terms context effects introducing classes. results review reveal diversity employed learning, pedagogical approaches that underlie interventions, teacher roles, positive learners, may prove useful practitioners when organising classes include technology.
